Easy set up, came slightly damaged
I purchased the 6 person tent. Set up and tear down are both super easy and there’s plenty of space. Plenty of window screens for ventilation. Weight is a little heavy because of the poles but I was still able to get it up on my own. Only got four stars because I noticed a tear in the mesh and some tears in the floor that I’m having to repair straight out of the box

I survived and stayed dry through a massive storm in this tent!

First time using this tent was at Sandy Hook Gateway campgrounds. Went up super easy. Very roomy plenty of ventilation. The entry zipper is very taught around the curve. You have to unclip the tent from one of the poles to have it work properly. I’m 511 and could walk around the inside easily. That day we had a heavy, heavy rain, storm, lightning thunder. It dropped 4 inches of rain on us. A puddle formed under the tent. The only place I actually had water come in was at the very peak. Apparently the material does not get pulled high enough and water was able to puddle and then drip down. Everything else was watertight! I don’t know if it’s adjustable. I will have to checkThe tent material is decent, although it might be a little bit light. This tent is not made for backpacking! It’s a little heavy and bulky. But I was able to use a handtruck to my campsite so it was perfectIf not for that little drip and a tight zipper,I would’ve given it five stars.( forget about trying to put it back into the bag. It came in. By a larger bag.)

For the price this is a good tent. Very easy setup and take down. Plenty of space, most people can stand up inside. I purchased my first Coleman Instant Tent in 2012 and retired it last year (2025). Used it for 1-2 weeks per year. The biggest complaint I have with my original tent was condensation on the inside. I recommend purchasing the rain fly, it helps reduce condensation on the tent ceiling as does keeping the windows slightly open. I recommend this tent for the casual camper just on the ease of setup and take down.

Love this tent. So roomy. Easy to set up. Lots of zipper options. Zippers are rigged and don’t break apart easily.

Easy setup and repacking. Not very sturdy in high winds. Other than that a nice tent

First time out with this new tent. The good is the easy set up and space inside. The bad is it happens to be raining steadily this weekend, and the seam at the middle of the wall is allowing water in under all three windows and running down the inside of the wall and gathering on the floor. I had slightly higher expectations, but I'm glad I sprung for the additional rainfly, because if this thing had been leaking along the roof seams, I'd be really upset. So, I'd say if you like a tent for light, clear weather camping, this is a good choice, but a better quality one is necessary if you want to stay dry inside, look for something of better quality
